How do I transfer my prescriptions to Kia Pharmacy?

Just give us a call at (905) 597-3411 or fill out our online refill & transfer form. We contact your current pharmacy and move everything over for you — you don’t need to do anything else.

Do you deliver prescriptions?

Yes — we offer free local delivery in Thornhill and nearby areas. Mention delivery when you call or note it on your refill request, and we’ll arrange a time that works for you.

Can the pharmacist prescribe for minor ailments?

Yes. In Ontario, our pharmacist can assess and prescribe for many common conditions — such as cold sores, pink eye, UTIs, and seasonal allergies — without a doctor’s appointment. Many assessments are covered by OHIP. Walk in or book an appointment.

Do I need an appointment for a flu shot or vaccine?

You’re welcome to walk in during business hours, but booking ahead means no wait and lets us make sure your vaccine is in stock. You can book online or call us.

Do you speak Farsi?

Yes. Our pharmacist serves the community in both English and Farsi, so you can ask your questions comfortably in either language.

What are blister packs, and do they cost anything?

Blister packs (compliance packaging) organize all your medications into sealed, clearly labelled compartments by day and time, so you never miss a dose. We prepare and refill them for you at no charge — just ask.

Which insurance plans do you accept?

We accept ODB (Ontario Drug Benefit), Trillium, and most private and employer drug plans. If you’re not sure about your coverage, bring your card in or call us and we’ll check for you.
