A MedsCheck is a free, private appointment with a pharmacist to review all the medications you take — prescriptions, over-the-counter products, vitamins, and supplements. It usually takes 20 to 30 minutes.
During the review we check for duplications, interactions, and side effects, make sure each medication is still doing its job, and give you an up-to-date list to keep and share with your doctors. It’s a good way to feel confident about what you’re taking and why.
Through Ontario’s MedsCheck program, the review is free once a year for anyone taking three or more chronic medications, and more often after a hospital stay or a major change to your medications. Call us or book online and we’ll set up a time.
